Philip Hare
Philip has 20 years experience in all facets of business management and product development, complementing his early experience in the technical and engineering fields. He has previously worked for the 3M Corporation, where he gained extensive business management and strategic planning experience in high technology businesses.
More recently, Philip's interim management roles have included General Manager, Services, for a large international IT company, Regional Manager, Asia Pacific, for a UK based IT asset management software company and General Manager of a Software Asset Management (SAM) services company. Philip has also worked extensively as a management consultant and jointly with leading management consultancies, including the McKinsey Group.
Philip holds certificates in Mechanical Engineering from England and Australia. He is an Associate Member of the Australian Marketing Institute, Member of the Australian Computer Society, Member of the Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association (PCIA), a Certified Software Asset Management professional and is a Director of two companies.
James Chisholm
James has twenty years experience in business development, general management and consulting. He has specialised in conducting market research and developing workable, profitable strategies to capitalise on market opportunities. James has been particularly successful at increasing sales and profits of companies by developing more efficient and effective business development procedures, strategies and actions. He has a thorough understanding of many industries including metals, IT (software and hardware and networks), mining, plastics, paper, glass, food processing, water and energy.
James specialises in identifying and negotiating acquisitions and divestments for engineering, mining and industrial businesses. He also arranges private equity backing for industry consolidations in these sectors. Keys to the success of such transactions are robust strategy development and in-depth market research to identify suitable buyers and vendors. After ten years in engineering roles and a further 12 years as a consultant, James has developed a thorough understanding of market research, strategy development and M&A in the industrial space in the Asia-Pacific Region.
James holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney.
